Bringing Guns to a Festival [OPEN]

Who: Zoe and OPEN
What: Various starters! See below :)
When: 17th-19th of Redheiss
Where: Around the city, and at the Palast GrĂ¢ce for that fancy ball Wednesday night
Rating: Pretty much PG, for cowboy swearing

1. Carnival games and shopping!

Zoe had to admit, she enjoyed the carnival games. It'd been a while since she'd had access to anything just for the fun of it, that was made just for fun, and she stayed out most of the day playing and buying the occasional keepsake. Not to mention winning a prize or two, which she was happy to give away to nearby kids or other castle-folk.

2. The parade!

Following the parade through the city was interesting, she had to give it that. She even picked up one of those masks-- a hawk, since it seemed fittingly fierce and she admired the featherwork on the leather base-- to carry around more than actually wear. But it was a nice change from work, these two days of play, and she was in a fairly good mood all day. And if she wasn't the only person who kept her weapon on her person, well, at least nobody commented on it.

3. The ball!

Tonight, Zoe was in slightly less of a good mood. It seemed politic to show up for the ball, since she knew the princess wanted people to, but she felt uncomfortable in the gown she'd purchased for the event. Damn near drained her entire stipend store to get, and though it was a complimentary rust with cream trim and a slit hidden in the ruffles so she could get at the pistol hidden under it if need be and she knew she looked fine, she felt severely uncomfortable. This wasn't her kind of shindig.

So mostly she hovered around the food and watched, but she was approachable rather than forbidding. Well, mostly, anyway.
