"I think we'd stop looking long before we got anywhere near searching forever," Lithuania said, crossing the lobby and stopping before the far door. It seemed a little more ominous to him than it did a few days ago, when he'd just been trying to find some way out. He paused, looking back at Poland to make sure he hadn't wandered off to some other corner of the lobby before opening the door and walking inside.
There wasn't anything unexpected beyond the door, at least for the moment--an abandoned castle hallway, with a window at the far end and a few doors they could look through. It looks like it might have been quite the ornate castle, long ago. The doll obviously wasn't in the hallway itself.
