"Some brat like you isn't-" starts the man who had spoken before, but the other one tilts his head, eyeing the sword the boy is carrying. He seems to obviously be reconsidering the situation now, and takes a step back, as if to say he isn't interested in any further trouble.

Mikado figures that is about the best chance they are going to get, and offers a small polite bow in the man's direction.

"It looks like it'd be best for everyone just to go their separate ways in that case, don't you think?"

He uses the movement to take another step closer to his rescuer, though he is trying to be subtle about it.
