"I was planning to take care of it as soon as I get settled in," Mikado says, a little embarrassed at being fussed over. He's trying his best to both look and feel like he belongs here, but it's rather hard to do. He can't really maintain the face he used for the meeting before coming here forever, after all.

"I can't imagine any woman I know living in a place like this either," he admits, not that he really knows a lot of women all that well. "I think even my apartment at home was nicer than this."
