Getting the cat's eyeball was easy enough even though it was quite a messy ordeal. He had to wash his hands several times because he couldn't find disinfectant cleanser and had resorted to using alcohol instead. The lack of technology in Goldvale was beginning to grate on his nerve but he'll deal with it. It wasn't as if he had much choice to begin with anyway. He already knew which bakery to purchase the strawberry shortcakes from, so what he needed now was the Luteé wings and butterfly cocoons. Deciding to look for butterfly cocoons later, he headed for the castle but not before speaking to other guildmates for information first.

Fully prepared to enter the castle, he checked his equipment one last time before entering. He had read up about Luteé; before coming and knew they were low level magic based monsters that he had encountered on his first day when he went in to rescue Yuri. Now properly equipped, even in beginner's gear, he was a lot more confident in his skills to take on monsters inside. On top of that, he had learned First Aid, a skill that was bound to be helpful. So without hesitating, he pushed the door, only to pause when he heard footsteps approaching. He turned around to see who came.

It's not hard to find most of the items. He's gotten (and completed) stranger requests before. Still, he's left the luteé for last, even though he's spent a fair amount of time inside the castle already. Armed and geared up, Nic realizes that there's someone else going for the door, but he doesn't offer a greeting or announce his presence until the other man turns around.

Probably another one of the non-natives. He doesn't wave or speak, just waits for Tieria to go through the door.

It was someone he hadn't seen before, a member of the mercenary's guild judging from his gears, he gave Nic a nod and pushed open the door. "What are you hunting for?" Forget introduction, he never bothered with them unless completely necessary. Instead, he went straight to the point and ask for the reason the other one was exploring the castle for.

Once inside the labyrinth like space, he was instantly alert as he looked around the currently empty space. He was well aware that it won't stay empty for long, monsters can appear anytime and anywhere.

"Luteé." Nic assumed that it was a question of courtesy, but he wouldn't protest if the Knight offered to join him. He trailed into the castle's first room after Tieria, hand on his sword though he hadn't drawn it yet.

He knew he wasn't the only one who took up the mission so the similar goal didn't surprise him. "So am I. Mind if I join you?" While he believed he would be fine hunting alone, there was still concern of being swamped by monsters and he was not naive enough to brush off possible risks involved. There was no need for either of them to put themselves in unnecessary danger.

At the sight of monsters further ahead, he drew his sword so he would be ready if those monsters attack. With a shield in hand, it would be better for him to have his sword drawn so he could immediately counter after blocking.

Nic only motioned vaguely with one hand, indicating that he had no objection. He wasn't too enthused about working in a pair, but turning the help away would involve more trouble than he was ready to go through.

Behind Tieria, Nicolas similarly drew his blade. He held it half-ready at his side, though, and waited for Tieria to move forward.

He didn't mind his lack of words so instead of being offended, he went ahead into the castle. It wasn't long before they encountered their first monster and with quick reflex, he hurried forward to attack first. Slicing the monster, another soon joined them, heading pass the occupied Tieria towards Nic.

"Yours!"

He let Tieria take the first monster, hanging back until it looked like he couldn't handle it on his own. Then, Nic made his first cut on the Armetzen, forcing it to the ground where he ended up stabbing it through the middle of its swords.

Nic looked up. "More." A warning for Tieria, as more monsters started towards them.

He was just done stabbing the Rablanc after pulling it down by it's tail when he heard Nic's warning and flung the corpse of the monster towards the approaching group of Armetzen. The monsters took the bait and attacked it, giving them the opening to attack while they were distracted.

"Attack." He took the one nearest to him and bashed it with his shield before stabbing at it.

In the approaching waves, there were more than one luteé. Nic spun, cutting across the body of another monster before going after one of the luteé specifically. He didn't wait for Tieria to assist, or to respond. He won't take what they drop all for himself, but he doesn't work well in groups.

He didn't mind that Nic went straight for their mark since that was what they were here for. After all, he was used to being a tanker, taking care of the rest of the enemy while his comrades complete their mission was a common thing. Taking down monsters after monsters, he aimed for the Luteé when chance presented itself. Occasionally, he glanced at Nic to make sure the guy was okay.

He was doing fine, for the most part, cutting monsters until he had approximately the required number of luteé pieces on the ground.

"Wait." He had to count. Nic pushed around the dropped wings with the tip of his blade. "One more."

Tieria nodded, thankful for the count since he was busy handling the bunch of monsters swarming around him. With the shield, he kept most of them at bay while he slashed and stabbed those in reach. But right after that, another fresh bunch of monsters headed towards him and he groan in exasperation.]

"Need help over here. New group incoming."

Collecting the wings took time, so Nic was somewhat occupied when Tieria spoke again. He could see the trouble starting, though, so he turned from where he was working to assist. He was silent while he did, but his aid was at least effective. Most of the monsters weren't much trouble, on this level, and it wasn't too long before Nic guessed they had enough for the quest.

When they finally finished the monster mob, they had more than enough Luteé wings for the both of them. Helping Nic sort them out and dividing them to two equal parts, he hands his mission partner his part. "Yours. Thanks for the support." He'll sell the extra wings for some extra money later.

He nods, still silent, and puts the wings away as well as he can when they're, well, wings. Without a further word, he leaves, off to turn in the mission.
