Viens ‣ Mission : Busy Pâtisserie

Who: Latvia and anyone signed up for Busy Pâtisserie
What: Don't expect Latvia to come into a kitchen and not make a mess but with a little help he might just make it through the week
When: Anytime between the 12th and the 19th
Where: Chef Montblanc's kitchen
Rating: G

[He was not an expert baker by any means but he knew his way around the kitchen more or less, not to mention free desserts were nothing to be sniffed at. Throughout the week Latvia comes into the kitchen whenever he can to lend a hand]

action a.
[Despite his enthusiasm he wasn't the cleanest of cooks. In a large bowl he whips cream with all the energy he can muster. A little too much perhaps as a careless motion of the whisk causes the whole thing to slip out of his hands and splatter onto the counter and the floor. Be careful not to slip, hopefully he didn't drop it on your shoes]

action b.
[This time Latvia has been decidedly more careful. Using all his concentration he arranges the small balls of pastry on top of each other after dipping them in a bowl of molten caramel. His hands are shaking quite badly and as the tower gets taller it becomes more of a struggle for him to properly stack the dessert. In the end he has no choice but to admit defeat]

Excuse me, could you let me a hand with this?

action c.
[At first glance it doesn't seem like Latvia is here today but maybe if you follow the quiet sounds of someone eating to behind the counter… As soon as he realises he’s been caught he shoves whatever he had been eating into his mouth and practically chokes]

[Latvia these are totally extreme reactions to getting cupcake all over you.]

I told you it was him!

[Lithuania gives Latvia a "stay where you are" glare and then turns on Poland, speaking Polish.]

Are you half as old as you look like you are? You're certainly acting like a child! This is completely embarrassing, everyone is staring and you're making a terrible impression! You're a grown nation, stop flinging food around like an infant!

[But don't worry, Latvia, he didn't forget about you! He'll turn to Latvia next and speak in Latvian.]

And what about you? You're always going on about wanting to be treated as an adult, so maybe you should try acting like one! Most school children know better than to hit people with sticks, and how old are you?

[Poland opens his mouth to argue. Who was Lithuania to lecture him anyway, he couldn't tell him what to do!

But once Lithuania points out that people are staring Poland loses his nerve and clamps his mouth shut.]

Clean up or I'm making you [Poland] apologize to everyone for the lack of desserts on stage at the ball and making you [Latvia] attend whatever school system they have here until you can learn to behave like an adult.

And I'll call Ukraina.

[Okay now that's just sadistic and cruel.

Poland chucks the cloth at Latvia, grabbing the mop off the floor. He just wants to clean this up and disappear into his room.]

Jerk.

[Let the overly aggressive sulky floor mopping commence.]

[GOOD ENOUGH FOR NOW. Lithuania isn't going anywhere, though, both to try and stave off any further arguments and to help clean.

And also to count up how many desserts were lost in this the smallest of Polish-Latvian wars. One, two, three...]

...I'll re-bake anything that's been knocked over.

[...He's just going to be here all night, that's all. He scrubs off the counters.]
