Viens ‣ Mission : Busy Pâtisserie
Who: Latvia and anyone signed up for Busy Pâtisserie
What: Don't expect Latvia to come into a kitchen and not make a mess but with a little help he might just make it through the week
When: Anytime between the 12th and the 19th
Where: Chef Montblanc's kitchen
Rating: G
[He was not an expert baker by any means but he knew his way around the kitchen more or less, not to mention free desserts were nothing to be sniffed at. Throughout the week Latvia comes into the kitchen whenever he can to lend a hand]
action a.
[Despite his enthusiasm he wasn't the cleanest of cooks. In a large bowl he whips cream with all the energy he can muster. A little too much perhaps as a careless motion of the whisk causes the whole thing to slip out of his hands and splatter onto the counter and the floor. Be careful not to slip, hopefully he didn't drop it on your shoes]
action b.
[This time Latvia has been decidedly more careful. Using all his concentration he arranges the small balls of pastry on top of each other after dipping them in a bowl of molten caramel. His hands are shaking quite badly and as the tower gets taller it becomes more of a struggle for him to properly stack the dessert. In the end he has no choice but to admit defeat]
Excuse me, could you let me a hand with this?
action c.
[At first glance it doesn't seem like Latvia is here today but maybe if you follow the quiet sounds of someone eating to behind the counter… As soon as he realises he’s been caught he shoves whatever he had been eating into his mouth and practically chokes]

She turned to save the custard from cream adulteration--but it does leave splatters of whipped cream on her arm and skirt.] ...Well that's a thing that can't be saved.
no subject
Out of all the people he could have dropped it on it had to be her. Latvia looks up and down the stains on her clothes and slowly mouths out some kind of reply]
I am so, so sorry...
no subject
[She sets the custard down and smiles] Really it's alright. It happens.
no subject
N-No, I'm really really sorry! I shouldn't be so careless, I'm sorry. I-I'll buy you a new dress and everything!

[It's awfully suspicious saying that with your mouth full and Latvia takes a minute to let it all go down before speaking again]
Sh-shouldn't you be working?
no subject
[aka: I'm watching everyone else do work.]
Also I'm pretty sure you're not getting paid to eat.
no subject
[But the icing on the side of his mouth says otherwise]
Besides, shouldn't you be doing something a bit more productive than supervising?

[Lithuania telling someone to relax and not to take something too seriously is the height of hypocrisy. But Lithuania will help! He'll steady the tower.
And then fuss with it a bit, moving things over a centimeter to the left or right to fix some sort of symmetry problem only he can see. He can't help it, okay?]
no subject
I'm afraid that if I don't take it seriously I'll still knock it over.
[No seriously, who put the short guy in charge of making pastry towers?]
C-could you just hold it still...
no subject
If you'd like, I could put the rest on. [Since, yeah, Latvia, you're kind of short.]
no subject
[That was exactly the answer he wanted to hear and he pushes the bowl of caramel and the pastries closer to Lithuania]

[Mikado is immediately rushing over, trying to make himself as helpful as possible. He really doesn't know that much about doing this kind of work, but he doesn't mind working hard or getting messy.]
Are you okay?
[Not that it was likely anyone would get hurt from such a thing, but it's better to be sure!]
no subject
[A silly thing to ask since Mikado was nowhere near the accident but it's force of habit]
You really don't need to clean it up. I dropped it so I'll deal with it.
no subject
[Mikado shakes his head as he says it.]
But really, I'd like to help! We should probably worry about the floor first so no one slips...
no subject
[He grabs the closest tea towl he could find, probably not the best thing for mopping spills off the floor but he doesn't know where to find a mop]
I'm really sorry about this... You really don't need to help, I'm fine.

b!
Ehehe, sure. But, wow, you've really stacked that high!
no subject
[Latvia takes a step back to get a better look at the tower]
I don't have much experience making French desserts so I don't know what size is best...
no subject
[Nuri's just saying that from aesthetic reasons, he personally likes his desserts high up.]
Okay, I'll see what I can do...
[And now he'll pick up one of those waiting pastry balls to inch closer to the dessert tower.]
no subject
I appreciate the help.
[But saying that he can't help but feel a little apprehensive somehow]
