[ There was a scramble around the city ever since the missions went up. People attempting to help cougars move in, cats out of trees, and other simple (okay, sometimes not really) tasks to please their guild masters and help them advance in the ranks. So, there was no shock that it was a cut-throat competition out there, even when some people banded together.

Whether you play well with others or play alone, you'll probably find some company regardless of what mission. So, what exactly are you looking for? ]


OOC: Okay! So I'm doing sub-threads for ingredient so people can pair off and choose who they run into. I feel like this is pretty simple and orderly, so have fun!

[ it seems like a great idea to do a mission with your ex! you know, learning to be friends and platonic bonding and all that cool stuff. stressful and vaguely life threatening situations are great way to build rapport.

until that mission gets... weird.

he'd told asami he'd get the last one himself, since he "think[s] [he] know[s] where the thieves guild is, kinda" already. that approximate knowledge was "somewhere in nickelhollow" and if he was gonna sneak into somewhere sketchy, he sure as heck isn't gonna take asami so she knows how sketchass he can get.

but as it is, he still doesn't know where the guild itself is, so he's just... getting lunch at this sketchass tavern, blending in more in his mages guild coat than he ever did in his regular one. the red of his scarf is a splash of color against the charcoal fabric and dark blue accents that fade in with the drab color of the room, making him stand out like a cardinal among crows.

[ IT WOULD BE SO CONVENIENT and hey look there just happens to be someone mako knows hanging around this kinda sketchy area.

actually she seems to be trying to make her way right through it and onto something else because really? even though she more or less chose to be in this guild (hey, she was kind of a thief back home, and in keeping with her "rogue" title, this was the closest she could get), this place didn't exactly feel all that safe.

plus it was gross. and dusty. and she felt like she had to shower at least twice a day. so here roxy is, making to bounce the fuck outta this tavern before she sees that bright red scarf and immediately recognizes the guy who's trying to blend in but can't really because roxy can tell that stealth isn't really his strong suit. maybe she can help him with that.

okay she can spare a few extra seconds and she sliiiiides right on over to him, propping her elbow up on his shoulder and curling her fingers into a fist she can rest her chin on. ]
