how to make a man bald.
Who: gaius (
caches) and tharja (
tharja).
What: somehow, a creepy dark mage always convinces a guy to do stupid things like give out his own hair.
When: before
tharja's mission log.
Where: a pub in nickelhollow.
Rating: should be pg. should be...
[ it only took about two weeks before gaius summoned up the courage to deal with his best friend of a mage named tharja. when he decided to do so, he made sure to do it in a public setting with many, many witnesses.
even if most of them were drunk off their ass and not bothering to care what a scantily-clad woman may do to one of their own. maybe he should have thought about that one some more.
gaius was waiting at a table, playing with a deck of cards. he was shuffling them idly, testing how fresh his skills were with his sleight of hand. as fun as that was, his attention was more-so focused on building a card pyramid when tharja took her sweet, precious time arriving.
groan. he knew that there was a good chance she was right behind him this entire time. he was just too reluctant to look back and find out. ]

Tharja had not recently walked into the pub, but stood off in the shadows for quite sometime. It really was that rotten candy thief! A groan of her own and she'd finally push through the drunkards towards him.
Tsk.
She needed him in that moment and she'd rather not admit it. ]
Still alive, I see.
[ Was all she said before she stepped over to take a seat across from him. ]

[ he tried his best to ignore the hairs on his neck standing up when her cold voice greeted him from behind. as she sat down, his eyes immediately stared into hers. god, he wanted to flee, but he had to prove that he could handle her or else she would stalk him just to troll throughout their entire stay here. ]
I'd say the same to you, but you always did act a bit dead inside.
[ teaseeee. ]

I'm very much alive. [ And she intends to stay that way 0_0 ] I've been stuck in the middle of a weirdo's demands and my own priorities. Sorry I don't have time to be enthused.
[ That weirdo was her guildmaster and sadly, just like Tharja. Who knew. ]
I was here for... ehehehe business... and I couldn't have noticed another one of his army here. Nowi will be pleased, at least.
