[ Before the mission, at Platmoor's side entrance...
It is Nuri's first ever mission in Goldvale. Days has passed since the great battle at PangYa Island, but the lingering sensation of that fight still lingers throughout his hands. It's making him a little numb, admittedly nervous, although he is doing his best not to let it affect him. Prior to living in PangYa Island, all of his experiences in a fight were merely sparring in a dojang.
It's been a challenging ride in PangYa Island. But this world, Reis Alurelia, feels so much bigger. Nuri knows well that he can't be pampered anymore, with no one here to hold his hand or guide him at every step like what Pipin previously did for him. That's why he determinedly huffs to himself, attempting to put on a bolder expression. ]
I... I can do this! I'm sure that I can. I have to be strong, so I wouldn't worry Hana and the others even if I'm here...
[ Huff huff!! After the moment of self-encouragement, Nuri proceeds to take a big step towards the forest. ... Not really for long, though. He collects air within his round cheeks, and turns around afterwards. It's then that he starts rummaging through his tiny backpack after swiftly taking it off. ]
Oh!! I have to make sure that I'm ready first.
[ ossidia's request, closed. @various. but primarily castle dyspros, nickelhollow, and platmoor. ]
[ Speaking of first missions, here is another. Again, it's Nuri's first time to be teamed up with others neither from his homeland nor PangYa Island. Looking much like a student excited for a field trip, Nuri keeps beaming at his two assigned teammates.
At the moment, they're right outside of Castle Dyspros, preparing before they once again enter. ]
Ehehe. Isn't this exciting? [ ♪ ] The previous mission was hard by myself, but I'm sure that it'll be better this time!

Th, there! That's the one, isn't it!?

Surprised himself, the blond finally turns to see the monster at such a close distance. After a short yelp he braces himself, unconsciously moving closer to Nuri's side. ]
Th... that has to be it! It can't be too hard, right?
[ His own weapon is drawn as he quickly assist the situation. There's only one, and his size wasn't too imitating compared to most of the things Yogi has fought in the past. Well, they did just start this game, so the monsters shouldn't be too hard, right!?
HE'S GOT THIS. ]
Alright, Nuri-chan! Let's show this monster what we got! Are you ready?

[The last thing that Nuri wants is to have Yogi slow down because of him. He took this job, he'll prove that he's capable of doing this as well. He slipped a little last time, but getting stronger isn't overnight, after all.
He'll keep fighting on, and that starts again this moment. He'll let Yogi have the first strike, as he'll surely get a better idea of how to approach this monster after observing a skilled fighter do so.]

And so bracing himself for a moment, Yogi locked on to his target with focus and threw himself forward. Extending his sword with almost perfect accuracy before striking the monster at its side.
There, an actual hit! The strike was well received with a scream from the many eyed monster- this shouldn't be too hard. ]
There! Try to attack while it's still stunned!

[Those are such good moves... While normally Nuri would start admiring someone for their good sides, this moment is crucial. He takes the time to sharply observe it, but he doesn't have the time to process it in one go.
For now, he'll stick to the moves that he's more familiar with. Fighting with a long rod isn't something new, because he's wielded different clubs before. Back home, they all had spiritual fighting by putting all they can into their swings. It's just that literally fighting — harming, a living being is something that he's yet to get used to...
It'll be fine. He tells himself that, and then sprints forward with a powerful movement. He isn't completely clueless. Aside from club techniques, he knows and fully recalls the martial arts that he's been taught in his original world. Before the monster recovers, another stunning impact follows up. The connected blow is strong enough to send the monster a couple of steps back, but it's not over yet.]
Ugh—
[The monster is angered, so out of frustration, it starts casting a spell. A magic circle is witnessed, so Nuri quickly backsteps as well.]

In a particular instance like this, one could either wait for the attack and hope to avoid it, or attack before the magic is finished. And unlike most of the things he has fought before, Yogi knows that no two battles are the same. He couldn't calculate what sort of attack it was going to use, but considering the lack of experience he was feeling at the moment, he wasn't quite sure if he could trust his sudden decrease in agility.
It was with that hesitation and thinking too much that the monster had already charged its attack. It threw the magical force forward, spreading its attack to several areas of the fighting range. ]
Whoa... uwah!! [ Luckily, Yogi was able to return to his right state of mind in order to avoid the attack. But Nuri...! ]

[Nuri didn't want to start panicking. And he wouldn't. Though, that doesn't stop him from being a little disoriented. As he isn't experienced with fast battles, he has to force himself to adapt, especially for critical moments. This is one of them now...
There's no time to spare, so Nuri just does what he can. Out of pure reflex, he backflips several times. The movements spring in a chain, luckily ending him in a more favorable position, but one particular shot almost hit him. The force that shot the ground at his feet after landing is enough to topple him down. He ends up sitting on the floor, staring at the blob that decided to chase after him first... Probably because he's the smaller one, and seems easier to devour.]

[ It was if all the events in front of him were happening in slow motion. He could see the smaller boy avoid the attack, how he soon lost balance, and the advance from the monster coming towards him. With wide eyes and the force of his adrenaline finally kicking in, Yogi pushes himself against the ground and straight towards the monster whom was about to make contact with his friend.
The space distancing himself from their foe was not large, and Yogi was able to fill in the space between the two before the monster got any closer. With this, his blade then extended once more, causing a powerful surge to be thrown from his blade.
The impact was successful, and within the burst of light was able to cause the monster to stagger backwards. Almost copying Nuri in the tumble to the ground.
With the small moment of reprieve, the boy then turned to other on the ground as he attempted to help him stand. ]
A-are you alright? You didn't get hurt, did you!?

[Nuri could smile, because Yogi once again displayed such impressive feats. Not only physically strong, but quick on his feet... And such a nice natural reflex, too. He can witness the experience that this young man certainly has.
To not allow Yogi to worry, Nuri stands all by himself and dusts himself off a little. But there's another reason to smile, because the slime monster has reached its last life. After that blow, it can no longer get up, and soon just melts into a defeated position.]
Look, I think it's dead now.

[ Suddenly overwhelmed with emotion, the blond drives towards Nuri and captures him in a tight embrace. He squeezes lightly at first, cheeks rubbing up against one another. It doesn't last long however when the mention of the monster came back into mind. ]
Huh? It did? [ A blink, followed by the turning of his attention to what remained of the monster. Sure enough, the corpse was slowly disappearing and in its wake a shimmer of something left behind. Could that be...? ] Ah-!
[ Moving towards the item and examining it, a wide smile falls across Yogi's face. ] It's here, we got it! We got the eyes we needed, Nuri-chan!

[Despite his huggable small size, Nuri actually is barely embraced by anyone. The only people that actually embraces him are his parents, and Arin time to time. His friends are either too shy,
too tsundere,or too formal for hugs.Of course, Nuri treasures the rare times that he receives one. Doesn't make it any less embarrassing though, so he can't help the light flushing on his face.]

Noticing the almost instant change on his face, Yogi is quick to recognize what is going on and puts the item away as fast as he could. ]
Ah... aha, well that wasn't too hard, was it? You did a really great job!
But uh, you look a little pale. Did it scare you?

[... Says the boy with trembling knees. It's subtle, but it's there. If Yogi can put it altogether, the truth can be seen. Nuri's lack of combat experience might get overwhelmed if he stays in here for too long.]

... Which is exactly what he's doing now as he approaches once again, a look of concern crossing his face. ]
Are you sure? It's alright if you're scared, I get scared all the time! [ As if to indicate this, Yogi's arms are folded inward and his body begins to rock. ]
There are a few more monsters on the list, huh? That's no good...
