[Open to Fighters] Settling In!

Who: Anyone in the Fighter's Guild!
What: Settling into their posh new home!
When: The first week or so?
Where: The super-lavish Fighter's Guild Bunk Rooms!
Rating: PG-13 for various rough language and behavior, maybe?

((OOC: Feel free to tag around and tag each other, I just figured since I was putting one up for Mikado to meet his bunkmate, I'd make it open to anyone living here.))

The housing in the Fighter's Guild isn't exactly the most extravagant. In fact, there's pretty much nothing but the bunks in the rooms, and bathroom facilities are shared. There are eight bunks to a room, so it's definitely going to be a busy place.

A very small-feeling Ryuugamine Mikado is standing in the middle of the room, looking like he's lost, holding onto the strap of his school bag a little too tightly. He's managed to talk his way into the fighter's guild in the first place out of sheer stubbornness, but actually fitting in here is another matter. It doesn't help any that he's already banged up and wearing several bandages around his person, ones he needs to redo soon since they're been in place since before arriving in this world.

By the time he stumbles into the housing area of the guild, Ali has already familiarized himself with the surrounding area with success resounding enough to land a mission and a big glass of ale in his hand. The place fit him easily, so it's not the rugged appearance, the unruly attitude, or the smell of said alcohol he'd long since downed on him that makes him stand out. That distinction is left to his suit, a staple of the job as a Gundam pilot he'd left behind. He's been carrying the helmet around with his hair loose, the greetings he offers fellow initiates friendly, but aggressive.

Whoever's in the immediate area is going to get a resounding slap on the back. Maybe this is his new roommate? He's supposed to be sharing the place, or so he'd heard.

"Yo! Nice place, huh?"

Is it really nice, or is he just the kind of guy who'd call a dump like this home?

Once he gets a good look at this kid's face, it does appear that he's really just a kid. Just who was in charge of picking initiates like this? It's not a bother though, because he figures the kid is going to get what he signed up for, even if it's not what he bargained for at all. With himself, for one, the fact that he's young and with a baby face isn't going to save him from judgment.

Ali raises an eyebrow at his suggestion.

"That's why you joined up? To make some friends? Oh, boy."

And on that note, he adds, "Are you really a fighter?"

He guesses everybody has to start somewhere. Still, maybe he's hoping to get taken under someone's wing? He's a bit surprised they let kids like him into a guild like this, but maybe it was out pity, or maybe they just figured he should make his own stupid mistakes.

"They wouldn't beat you up with the scholars!" Ali says incredulously. He pauses as he brings a hand to his chin thoughtfully, and then seems to come to a conclusion.

"Oh, I get it. You're trying to make good with the tough crowd, so they won't bully your sorry ass."

He still sounds pretty laid back about this, even friendly, so maybe he's trying to insinuate that he's not one of them. It might even be believable. Though he's a big guy, since he'd just been on an important mission, he doesn't look as rough as he might have with the facial hair he'd shed.

"Don't worry. Not everyone here is a brainless musclehead. I'm a military man myself."
